Robert Fitzgerald Diggs is bringing his turntables to DJ Hero 2. That's much cooler news than it may sound. Diggs is better known as RZA, the leader of rap's kung-fu experts, Wu-Tang Clan. He'll appear in the upcoming game as a playable character while contributing two exclusive tracks he mixed and produced.

RZA joins an all-star lineup of DJs that includes Deadmau5, David Guetta, DJ Qbert, and Tiesto. The two tracks he produced are a mashup of LL Cool J's "I Can't Live Without My Radio" and Grandmaster Flash's "The Message," and Damian Marley's "Welcome to Jamrock" mixed with Walter Murphy's "A Fifth of Beethoven."


"I'm very excited to be involved with DJ Hero 2," RZA said in a statement. "As both a DJ and gamer from an early age, the game combines two of my passions. I loved working with the team and am excited for the fans to hear the two brand-new mixes I put together just for this game."

"RZA rounds out the crew of in-game playable characters representing the biggest and best DJs in hip-hop, pop and dance from around the world," added Dan Neil, music director at developer FreeStyleGames. "These world-renowned DJs, along with our award-winning team at FreeStyleGames, have mixed a host of the biggest hits from the hottest artists today to produce 83 masterpieces that deliver the best soundtrack in entertainment."

DJ Hero 2 is set to ship for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii on October 22nd.
